First thing you need to learn is how to be a Clever Partner and gain her interest.
This approach is not for the faint of heart or timid, as this is one of the most frequent ways guys get rejected by women.
First you need to distract her attention. You do not want to put in yourself in a position to get rejected or ignored, so here is a list of DO NOT DO's:
Call to her from across the street
Walk behind her
Call her after she passed you
Grab her hand
Touch her in any way
Call her any sexual names
Try to insult her
Stare at her without saying anything
Chase her
Offer your number
Be rude
Ask her where she's going
If you avoid the above, you are in the clear, you just need to work on your approach. You either need to block her path temporarily, walk next to her, or drive with her pace of walking and make an opener stick. Example situation of a walking woman and you walking as well:
If she is walking at a normal pace, walk up next to her and start off with a question or request for an opinion. You can first make a comment and then proceed without waiting until your opener is complete, "such a beautiful day, to meet a beautiful woman, I'm Jordan, what's your name?" She might respond with her name or reject you. At this point you need to remember, you never lose until you give up. Also, you must measure your level of tolerance, if she is genuinely not interested, she will not smile or even look your way. The point of being a Clever Partner us to use intelligence rather than routine. Do not use the same line all the time, it becomes a routine and boring.
If she doesn't give her name, you can follow up with, "Ok, I respect that, I know I'm a stranger now, but I can be a true friend if you take the chance to know an awesome guy like me", "How about we have a talk over lunch tomorrow?" or whatever day you're free.
If she gives her name, you proceed with something like "Nice to meet you sheila, you seem to be in a rush heading somewhere important, but I would like to talk with you sometime over lunch, and get to know you, will you join me?"
The point is simple, this needs to be a short encounter. If she is responding to you, she is interested. Get her number after the first 20 seconds and do not try to have a conversation.
